內政部移民署於2021年1月2日起針對外來人口配發新式統一證號

1. 為了給外國人建立友好的環境，自2021年1月2日起，內政部將外國人的統一證號編號格式從當前的代碼（首兩位英文字母，跟後八位數字組成）更改為新的代碼，由一個英文字母跟九個數字組成（以下稱為“新式外來人口統一證號”），該代碼與居留證號碼的代碼一致。
2. 如果您已完成變更新式外來人口統一證號，請您親自前往原開戶分行，並提供以下文件，以申請更改帳戶統一編號：
   1.中華民國居留證或中華民國統一證號基資表；
   2.護照或中華民國台灣地區入出境許可證；
   3.存摺 ；
   4.原留印鑑。
   

Notice-New UI No. format for Foreign Nationals

I. To establish a friendly environment for foreign nationals, Ministry of the interior National Immigration Agency Republic of China(Taiwan) had changed the UI No. format for foreign nationals from the current code consisting of two English letters followed by eight digits to a new code consisting of one English letter followed by nine digits (hereafter referred to as “the new UI No.”), in conformity with the code used for citizens’ID card numbers, from January 2, 2021.

II. If you have changed to new UI No., please approach the SCSB branch where your account was opened in person with the following documents to apply for changing your UI No. of the account:
1. your R.O.C.(Taiwan) Resident Certificate or R.O.C.(Taiwan) UI No. Basic Information Form- bearing the new UI No. ;
2. Passport or EXIT & ENTRY PERMIT CARD TAIWAN REPUBLIC OF CHINA
3. passbook; and
4. original authorized seal.
